Why visit Italy?
As a self professed fan of Italy, I do get asked by others why it is that I like the country so much. What is it, they ask, that makes me want to visit Italy so frequently?
The answer is that there are so many great things about the country that it can be difficult to know where to begin. The people, the culture, the architecture, the climate, the history and the cuisine all appeal so much.
This is a country of many varieties. Indeed, people forget that Italy only came together as a single country relatively recently. That's why there are such differences between the various regions. When talking about Italian food, or Italian culture, it's perhaps more appropriate to talk about the food or culture of individual regions.
The experience that you have in the area surrounding Lake Garda Italy, for example, is likely to be considerably different to that found in Rome, for instance.
That's all part of what makes this such a great country to visit. It's a country that's rich in experiences, making each new day different and surprising. It's a location that I would highly recommend - a place unlike any other.
